MONDO RELEASES BUBBA HO-TEP POSTER

Great news for poster fans! The legendary poster company, MONDO, has released an ultra rare poster by beloved artist Randy Ortiz.

As the website explains:

As a company, we’re rooted in genre film. We're just a motley monster squad who loves to watch and talk about movies. When October rolls around, a shiver runs down our backs as we get to highlight so many of the films that we love so much.

Next up we’ve got a great new poster for another horror (with a little comedy, for good measure) gem from the early '00s: Don Coscarelli’s BUBBA HO-TEP, with beautiful new art by Randy Ortiz. Featuring Bruce Campbell as “Elvis” and Ossie Davis as “JFK,” the film follows these two men as they endeavor to defeat a re-animated Egyptian mummy (the titular “Bubba Ho-Tep”) from terrorizing an East Texas nursing home where they reside. This movie rules, and deftly balances horror, comedy, and a surprising amount of poignancy. If you haven’t seen it, consider rotating this one into your watchlist during this horror season.

Years ago, Randy blew us away with his poster for Coscarelli’s other horror staple, PHANTASM, and we were really excited to see him follow that up with BUBBA HO-TEP.

Warning to collectors! There are still a few posters available but it has a LOW STOCK warning.
